Snail's pace

Hey Burblers! As the title announces, yes, I’m still a slug; but now I have elevated myself by putting a shell on my back and becoming a snail. You see I thought that if I were to be slow, I could at least be something CUTE and slow and I would most definitely classify a snail as cute. (Come on who would want to photograph somthing that WASNT cute?!) So anyways, it’s not really my fault that I’m a snail right now. You see when I’m writing this (October 28, 2009) the Internet is down. That means: no Emails, no Facebook, no Webkinz, no Last Chaos, and NO blog. SO that’s why I haven’t written in so long. At least it leaves me with more time to read my book for science, exercise my drawing skills, and learn my lines for drama club. Once you think of it, I’m not really that much of a lazy burbler as I would like to consider myself lol. So anyway back to the snail thing. I think it’s funny how a snail is cute and a slug is not. If those were slugs in the picture, you would have seen them on the bottom of my shoe instead of on my hand. (Ok, probably not but you get the picture.) The only difference between them though is a shell. I realize that it’s kind of off topic, but I think it could be compared to Salvation. The shell is the only thing keeping me from stomping on a slug, and Jesus is the only thing that keeps God from destroying or “stomping” on us. Just take a moment to think about that. Do you have any protection? What is keeping you from being destroyed? God’s patience won’t hold out for ever. He sees you defying him daily, like the slug in a well tended garden. You are eating up his world. The only thing that would keep him from eventually crushing you is faith in Jesus. I’m not saying that God hates you. After all, the difference between a Christian and an unbeliever is the Jesus, but it’s the only difference needed to change your future. So like I said before: think about it and if it convicts you, which I know it will if you don’t have Him, don’t just THINK about it: DO something about it.
